The newly established Restaurant Promotion Committee is devising new ways to tell people about one of the Central BID’s greatest assets: its large selection of restaurants of all kinds. Whether you’re in the mood for italian, vegetarian, bavarian, deli-style, fish fry, caribbean, or you name it, you’ll find a restaurant to please your palate in Albany’s Uptown.
The Restaurant Promotion Committee was formed to spotlight our 60+ restaurants and bring together restaurant owners in the district. The committee’s work will complement our coupons, advertising maps, and the upcoming restaurant guide. Kathy Saso (Saso’s Japanese Noodle House) is chair and Rhonda Shane (Scenarios in The Clarion Hotel of Albany), Ed Shea (Shea’s Restaurant and Lounge) and Matt Daskalakis (Ristorante Paradiso), are on the committee.
